PHASE V Technologies operates as a patient-reported outcomes "central laboratory". We work with the sponsor to incorporate appropriate patient reported assessments in the research "program", which can range from a single Phase II trial, to a comprehensive Phase III registration program, to a Phase IV strategic marketing research plan. Each of these has several components in common:
- PVT works as a co-investigator with the sponsor
- PVT provides all the goods and services necessary to plan, conduct, analyze, and report the patient reported outcomes component of the program
- PVT independently funds any scientific presentation and publication of the results, with review and comment (but not oversight) by the sponsor
